Back pain

These posts are boring, I know. But I realize the power of having many people out there to answer my questions. I've got a lot of lower back pain when I sleep but other times too. I've tried the pillow between your knees thing, but it's not helping. Anyone have any ideas?

Hey Cassie!

I had horrible back pain too. Besides a good non-invasive (no back popping) chiropractor, these are the things that helped:
- BioFreeze (get it at most chiro offices - it has menthol and it's great!) Have Cameron rub it on your back before bed. Do it a half hour before bed so it soaks in or the cold-menthol feel will keep you up.
- Rice sock - get a large tube sock (the ugly ones that men wear to embarrass women)and fill it most of the way with rice. Tie the end shut with a simple knot. When you're having pain, warm it in the microwave for 20-30 seconds and put it on. It is the BEST heat pack because the rice actually gets moist when it's warmed!

Can't wait to see you at your shower. By the way, it's ok to have a boring post here and there. It keeps people on their toes :)

I just found your blog so sorry, I'm going to comment. I've found that the rice sock mentioned above helps. Also, have a pillow under your belly to support it can help a lot. I use a body pillow so that it can be between my legs and under my belly at the same time.

Hi Cassie! This is your cousin Jordan's Wife, Carly. Does that make sense?! Anywho...congrats on your pregnancy! I totally know how you feel about your lower back pain. I finally decided to get the snoogle pillow and it was amazing. My back felt so much better. The pillow is kinda expensive. I think we spent $60 but it might be cheaper bc it's been in stores for a while now. We got it at Babies R' Us. Sorry, I hope this helps you.

You may have back labor instead of regular labor. I think it's better, but it's not what you are expecting. does that make any sense?
